Gets the job done

It does an excellent job on mildewed wood such as decks and deck furniture without using chemical mode which is the only weak link in an otherwise strong chain. Unfortunately, the only effective chemical solution is chlorine which acts more or less on its own but cannot be used with this machine. Safe cleaners, such as Simple Green are no more effective than when used without them. Other than that, it's a great product.

Piece of CR--AP - try calling their support !

Got this JUNK from the Thank You network. It failed even the assembly test - the thing is so badly manufactured that the connection to which the pressure hose connects on the body of the washer was completely misaligned. There was no way I could connect the nozzle. OK - I thought it happens. I tried to call their 1-800-521-8559 support number and was on hold for 42 Minutes both on the Customer Service and Sales lines and then they cut me off. I did not even talk to a human! Their website is a joke. This is a typical bottom of the barrel Chinese company trying to dump poorly built stuff on the consumer. DO NOT BUY this and encourage such companies that dont give a hoot about the customer.

I'm returning this and telling every retailer to dump this.

Exceeds expectations

This is my 3rd pressure washer and by far the best of the breed. It is solid piece of work that is easy to move about when doing the deck(s)with wheels that actually work. Santa gave me the one with the roll-up hose which is very nice feature. Only problem was that the User guide didn't have any information on this feature so I spent a few minutes trying to figure out where or how to connect the high pressure hose to unit- Guess What? - No need to connect anything except garden hose. I consider this tool the best buy for your $$$$

Great buy - Great product!

I used this today to clean my wooden decks that were covered with lots of green mold & dirt. It was easy to setup and use. I was thrilled how easily the mold and dirt washed away with very little effort on my part. This was the first time I've used a pressure washer and found out quickly to go with the grain of wood because this has a lot of pressure. My decks came out great and are now ready to restain. I was so impressed with it that I then cleaned my front steps that are concrete and brick - they look brand new now! It even removed paint splashes on the concrete that I had tried to clean before. With the adjustable tip, it's easy to change the flow from a stream to fan of water. Great product!

Product was defective

When I received this item I could tell the box had been previously opened. This was confirmed by the condition of the internal packing materials. Not a big deal as long as it worked properly, but it did not. It seemed to work OK at first, but after a few minutes water came out of the case from some kind of internal leak. Amazon made it easy to return, but indicated they could not replace it until July, 2008 (about two months). Too late for my projects. The same item was available from another vendor selling through Amazon, but once burned, twice cautious. I will try something else.

Good, low power, pressure washer

I bought this to do light washing of my porch and patio. I've used larger, gasoline powered washers in the past, and those types of washers have quite a bit more power, but they are a pain to store, maintain, and move around. This little guy stores easily, is quick to set up and move, and blasts dirt, berries, and bird poop off my patio with no problems. It has an attachment for detergent, but I haven't used it yet. Unlike some other pricier washers, it does not have interchangeable tips, just a universal tip that adjusts from fine stream (most powerful) to spray. I wouldn't buy this for professional use (or even to clean all the siding in your house), but for small occasional jobs, it is great.

Questions & Answers
Question : Power washers for screen printing?
Are power washers to strong of a blast for screen printing? Will it remove the emultion after it's ran through the UV to spray out the image?

Answer:
As an amusing note, this "printers" section is actually meant to be about computer printers. Having worked in a screen shop for several years I can answer your question anyway. We always used power washers to clear screens. If you've got a good coat of hardened emulsion it shouldn't take it off. Be careful about having it very close to the screen though. In general (depending on the washer at the time) we were 2-4 feet from the screen. It can remove the emulsion, but shouldn't if you are careful. A good general tip is to get both sides of the screen good and soaked and then let it sit for a minute or two, the image should spray out quite easily after that.

Question : Are power washers really dangerous?
Not far from where I live, a power washer exploded and killed a guy. But a friend of mine uses her power washer regularly for, among other things, washing her house and playing with the kids (from a responsible distance, of course!) - what gives? The newspaper said that too much pressure built up in the tank, and that's how it exploded.

Answer:
Most power washers are powered by gasoline engines; makes one wonder if perhaps he lit a match or something with the fuel cap off. There is no more reason for that to explode than your lawnmower....they use a similar engine. You do have to be careful depending on the psi of the washer as something like 2500psi washer can take the paint off your car if you get it too close...that kind of power or more could actually cunt you if you got it too close...most come with adjustable nozzle for pressure and instructions of what to do and not do. If it exploded..something else had to be going on like a gas leak or something

Question : power washers torque pressure?
I am trying to find out what the torque pressure is on a GX390 Honda power washer

Answer:
First off, a Honda GX390 is an engine. The washer pump is separate, my guess would be with that size engine that you are getting around 2500-3000 psi. I assume that is what you're asking.

Question : Need info on power washers?
What is the best all round power washer for cleaning the patio, paths, cars etc? What technical details should I look for?

Answer:
If you are in UK then an electric model with a power of 150 bars and a selection of jets especially a fish-tail type would be a good all-rounder for most jobs that you have to do around the house. AS we are are on 240 volts in the UK and continent of Europe they are OK If in USA you are on 110 volts so a gas driven type would probably be better Briggs & Stratten are unbelievably reliable.Should have a minimum pressure of 150 Bars (2250 psi)

Question : What is the best brand of Power-washers to buy?
I need to buy a power-washer to wash the siding on my house and clean my deck before I stain it, what is the best brand?

Answer:
since you're only using it at home and not comercially you should consider value, home depot for instance has lower end washers that'll be just fine for no more than you'll be using it i suspect, toro, homelite, and companies that make smaller household tools should do ,make sure it's got a year warranty on it and you should be safe,by the way, they can range from 150.00 to thousands depending on how major a power washer you need, keep it practicle

Question : Power washers, why is water pouring out of the trigger area,?
You might say, you have a loose connection, but we have only used it a few times and it has never done this before. There does not seem to be anything to tighten anyway. I thought the water was up too fast but still the same. even with the machine turned off the water is still pouring only stops when the tap is turned off. I can't find my instruction maual.

Answer:
You have dropped the handle and broken it, time for a new handle and be careful this time. The cheap they are the easier they break.

Answer:

Question : Power washer not working properly.?
I recently bought a power washer. I tried it out the day i bought it and it was working fine. I pulled it yesturday after being stored for 2 days and it is not working properly. It starts good and seem to be runing normal. it has 2 setting low presure and high presure. When I run it in low presure water comes out good but when i put it in high presure there is not much water coming out. I get more presure from the hose itself then when im running the power washer on high presure. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Answer:
Sometimes it takes a few minutes to warm up....it'll sputter and spit off and on before it really starts shooting. Make sure there is a fresh fuse in the machine...if not take it out and replace it at an auto parts store. Make sure the hose is not bent anywhere or folded anywhere, cutting off the pressure. Make sure it has gas.... If that doens't work, then not sure man
